Can I Show Different Bank Details per Country or Store View?

Yes. The Magento 2 Wire Transfer Payment Method Extension lets the store admin configure bank details, including the bank name, account number, SWIFT code, and IBAN, directly from the Magento 2 admin panel. Since these settings are configurable per store view, you can display different bank account information to customers depending on the store view they are shopping from. This makes it straightforward to manage regional bank accounts for international or multi-store setups without any custom development.

What Order Status Is Set After a Customer Chooses Wire Transfer?

When a customer selects wire transfer at checkout and places the order, it is created with a pending payment status by default. This is expected behavior for any offline payment method since the payment is not confirmed in real time. The order stays in this state until the admin manually verifies receipt of the bank transfer and updates the order status accordingly. From the admin panel, you can process, invoice, or cancel the order once the payment is confirmed, giving you full control over the order lifecycle.

Can Wire Transfer Be Restricted by Customer Group or Order Amount?

Yes. The Magento 2 Wire Transfer Payment Method Extension includes configuration options to set a minimum and maximum order amount for the wire transfer payment method. This means you can limit the option to appear only for orders that fall within a specific value range, which is particularly useful for B2B stores or high-value product merchants who want to offer wire transfer only on larger orders. For more granular control by customer group or shipping conditions, this can be combined with MageDelight's Payment Restrictions extension.

Does the Customer Receive Bank Transfer Instructions by Email?

Yes. Once a customer places an order using wire transfer, the extension automatically includes the bank details and payment instructions in the order confirmation email. Admins can customize these instructions from the backend to include any additional guidance specific to their bank or process. The same instructions are displayed on the order confirmation page immediately after checkout, so customers have everything they need to complete the transfer without contacting support.

Is the Wire Transfer Extension Compatible With Hyvä and GraphQL?

Yes, the Magento 2 Wire Transfer Payment Method Extension is fully compatible with the Hyvä theme at no extra cost. All MageDelight extensions are Hyvä-ready, so there is no additional charge or separate module required for Hyvä storefronts. Beyond that, the extension also supports GraphQL and REST API, making it suitable for headless or PWA setups.
