Do I need to maintain a separate product catalog for AI agents?

No. The extension uses your existing Magento catalog as the source of product information. Product descriptions, categories, prices, availability, and product URLs can be exposed through the configured agent-facing surfaces.

Can I control which Magento products are visible to AI agents?

Yes. The extension provides a product-level Visible to AI Agents attribute. Merchants can set it to No to prevent an individual product from appearing in MCP searches and public JSON API responses.

Can I control which AI commerce protocols are enabled?

Yes. Administrators can independently enable or disable MCP, Public JSON API, UCP Merchant Profile, Agent Instructions, WebMCP, Agent Cart, the discovery sitemap, and the robots.txt agent block. The master Agentic Commerce switch can disable all agent-facing surfaces.

Can I track whether AI agents are generating shopping activity?

Yes. When Agent Activity is enabled, the dashboard can report agent calls, unique agents, searches, product inspections, carts, attributed orders, and attributed revenue. Zero-result searches can also provide useful signals about unmet product demand.

How can customers discover products through AI?

Customers can ask compatible AI assistants to find products based on their requirements, preferences, budget, or shopping intent. The agent can search the Magento catalog and present relevant products from the merchant's store.

Can an AI agent add products to the customer's shopping cart?

Yes, when Agent Cart is enabled. A compatible agent can create a cart and add or update selected products before providing the shopper with a secure continue URL.

Does the AI agent complete checkout or process the customer's payment?

No. Agent Cart is designed for cart preparation and shopper handoff. The customer continues to the merchant's Magento cart or checkout, where the normal Magento purchase and payment process takes place.

What are MCP, UCP, ACP, and WebMCP used for?

They address different parts of the agentic-commerce ecosystem. MCP connects compatible AI clients with Magento tools and data, UCP provides merchant and commerce capability discovery, ACP supports compatible OpenAI agentic-commerce experiences, and WebMCP exposes storefront tools to compatible browser-based AI agents.
